Attorney William “Bill” Ward from San Diego, California, has decades of experience in construction law and civil litigation. While studying law at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, he worked at a large construction company. This early exposure to the construction industry paved the way for his future work in construction law. Years later, attorney William Ward opened The Ward Firm in La Jolla, where he counsels clients from San Diego in construction matters such as mechanic’s liens, stop notices, and construction claims.

Bill Ward has represented clients in numerous cases, both in jury and bench trials, as well as in mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings. Mr. Ward has published a Pocket Guide for Contractors, which educates contractors on the steps they can take to protect their rights and secure payments for work done in construction projects. He has also spoken at a Stanford University construction seminar. His hobbies include traveling, long-distance running, music, swimming, and watching college football. He also supports organizations like American Wild Horse Campaign, 4Ocean, and Sisters of the St. Benedict.
